MAC Blunt

I've been searching for a really good contour powder. I have a few bronzers that I own but none that I like to use for contouring but I use anyway. I came across Camille (mizzxcee) on youtube and she featured the MAC: blunt blush for contouring so I decided to try it out.

I actually liked the color when I swatched it. However, when I applied the color wasn't brown as it looks in the pot. Maybe it's just me, i don't know. I mean, it's not bad as a contour. It just looks a bit orange on my skin tone. I will continue using it to see if I still like it or not.

I am quite interested in the Sleek Contour kit - which I've had my eyes on a while.

NOTW: Sparkling Leopard

This is by far my most FAVORITE glitter nail polish. Every glittery nail polish I've tried were either not enough glitter or it was hard to brush the glitters on. This is one is just perfect.

I think it's PERFECT for the holidays and adds a little or a lot of upmh to your nails. As for the leopard print nails, they're "stick ons" made by a brand called broadway. They're kind of interesting to put on though.

This is so pretty and for only $4? I'm all for it!

happy holidays,
Linda :)

Zouk: PJ Party

I didn't get to post pictures from last weekend when a couple of my girlfriends and I went to a club for a sorority party. Here goes ...

My makeup & hair for the night. I don't quite remember the products I used, I'm so sorry.

And the girls :). At first it started off kind of boring but then we ended up having a great time towards the end of the night. We meet a group of party who asked us if we wanted to party with them so we did. They were really nice and sweet. It was two of the guys birthday so we helped them celebrate. :)
The birthday boys :)

Random mini haul :)

Today after work, I decided to stop by Ulta because I felt like I needed a white eyeliner for those tired days. I've owned a rimmel kajal (i believe it was) eyeliner but it disappeared and I didn't like how chalky it was. I was debating on either the MAC or the NYX white eyeliner. I've heard good reviews about the NYX eyeliners, as well as the MAC but I decided I would try it, more so after NYX cosmetics were buy 1 get 50%! All the more reasons for me to try it. :)

And of course every time I go into a Sephora, Ulta, and etc. I get sucked into buying other things. Everything I bought cost me $38.50 - not bad, in my opinion. Since NYX cosmetics were having a sale I decided to pick up an eyebrow pencil in the color taupe with the white eyeliner. I loved my your bff eyebrow pencil that was in my birchbox but I am completely out of that and plus I like how my eyebrows look when I use a brown pencil and go over it with a powder.

I remember using the NYX eyebrow pencil when I was younger though. I'm pretty sure I didn't like it, mainly because I didn't know how to use makeup back then. LOL. Hopefully, I like the both the eyeliner and brow pencil.

I picked this up for my hair because well I have really dry hair and it needs all the moisture and help it can get. My hair has gotten a lot better now though, it's more healthier but there's nothing wrong with making it more healthy. I was debating on this Paul Mitchell moisture mist and the Healthy Sexy Hair tri-soy wheat one. I went with the Paul Mitchell one because you can use it for your hair and body. (love multi purpose products!) It was only $5. I own the Paul Mitchell Shampoo and love it so hopefully I will feel the same about this product.

I was standing in line and got sucked into buying this mini benefit palette. It was actually on those "gifts" rack by the registers, which I ALWAYS get sucked into buying a product from there everytime -_-. I decided to give this a try. For only $18, I thought this was a deal considering how much benefit products usually cost. I already have benefit's high beam. This palette comes with - ooh la la (eye depuffer), lip plump, high beam, lemonaid, and boing concealer in 02. I've tried the boing concealer and loved it however my color in the concealer is 03. But I do believe I can make this concealer work since I am a lot lighter in the winter now.

I will most likely have a review on these products after I try it, of course.

Happy Holidays,

Linda
